To Galloop Galore...

That has nothing to do with this. Or does it? Anyways, Jake tagged me, and so here it is! Ouch, there are 75 questions... Wonder who I'll tag?

1). What's your wordcount?
Umm... let me check. *checks* 58,220 words.

2). How long until you finish?
If I work on it, maybe a month at the most (hopes).

3). If you have finished, how long did it take you?
Uh... look above ^

4). Do you have an outline?
Threw that away a long time ago. >_> <_<

5). Do you have a plot?
I hope I do! Gack.

6). How many words do you typically write a day?
A regular, not-much-time-to-spare day? Then about a thousand at the most.

7). What was your greatest word count in one day?
4,500 to 5,000.

8). What was your least impressive word count in one day?
Umm... If none doesn't count, then about two words. O_o I typed, 'Aneth stood' and then my mom said I needed to get off... We had to clean for company.

9). What inspired you to write?
Who says I write? Well, actually, other books and authors. Wayne Thomas Batson, C. S. Lewis, Jill Williamson, the list goes on and on... actually, after I finished a book, I always wanted to be able to create something of my own with words... I failed till this novel. :D

10). Does your novel/story have a theme song?
Um, I'm not sure, though it would probably be a LOTR sound track.

11). Assign each of your major characters a theme song
Huh? Well, I'm not sure...
Myrean-- Maybe Rohan music (can't remember the name) or like Jake used, 'You Don't Own Me' by Disciple.
Aneth-- Ah, I'm not sure. He's a hard character to put to music, so I'll just let that alone...
Aori and Jinrari-- (intelligent wolves) probably 'Avalanche' by Manifest, though I'm not exactly sure why...
That's all I can figure out.

12). Which character is most like you?
Probably Myrean--in personality, but not looks. Maybe a little of the indecision Aneth has... at times. Most of the time he's pretty confident.

13). Which character would you most likely be friends with?
Probably... Myrean and maybe Eldrin.

14). Do you have a Gary-Stu or Mary Sue character?
Wha? Who?

15). Who is your favorite character in your novel?
How can you be this cruel? I have to PICK? Well, I can't, so Blogger-Tag-whatever you are, I'm not going to tell you. Sorry.

16). Have your characters ever done something completely unexpected?
Yah. Of course. Why?

17). Have you based any of your novel directly on your personal experiences?
Uh, nay.

18). Do you believe in plot bunnies?
My version of plot bunnies-- they sit in my garden and eat all the carrots and lettuce and jalapeƱos (Yes, I love jalapeƱos), causing me to stop writing to chase them away all day. Yup. Of course, I have no idea what plot bunnies really are... *bloinks*

19). Is there magic in your novel/story?
Nay!! No! Never!!

20). Are there any holidays celebrated in your novel/story?
Not that I know of...

21). Does anyone die?
What? Of course! Niwodei died. Er... *crosses that out*

22). How many cups of coffee/tea have you consumed during your writing experience?
Not much... I'm not usually allowed to have coffee, and tea isn't always my favorite. Heh, like Eldra, I prefer water.

23). What is the latest you've stayed up writing?
Way past midnight. >_>

24). What is the best line?
Uh... maybe 'Meanwhile, the creature, known as Vedlyn, meaning ‘fear’ in some ancient language nobody bothered to remember, was leaping from rooftop to rooftop till he got to the other side of the small, sleeping town.' Or maybe, '"Why do always have to wake me up at infernal times of the night?"

25). What is the worst line?
Maybe an obvious one... 'Drugged'.

26). Have you dreamed about your novel/story or its characters?
Yes. Multiple times!

27). Does your novel rely heavily on allegory?
Nope. Not in the least bit.

28) Summarize your novel/story in under fifteen words.
Aneth and Myrean must team up to find the destined king. GACK!! That gives it all away!!! Well, not all of it *smiles deviously* There's a lot more nobody else knows about, BWAHAHAHA!!

29). Do you love all your characters?
Oh, yes, even the bad ones... Poor Lord Dvinstra, he's gonna-- *shuts her mouth*

30). Have you done something sadistic or cruel to your characters specifically to increase your word-count?
Yes, I have. I stabbed Aneth, *bleeps out the rest*

31). What is the last thing your main character ate?
Not-so-good Inn food...

32). Describe your main character in three words.
Pressed into adventure.
Does that count?

33). What does your antagonist dress up as for Halloween?
Well, I guess if he went to someone's door on Halloween, they'd say, "OH MY! I thought you were real for a moment there! Who are you dressed up as?" Then they'd sort of die... O_o He doesn't believe in dressing up when he's already frightening enough.

34). Does anyone in your story go to a place of worship?
No, they're traveling.

35). How many romantic relationships take place in your novel/story?
Uh... None, so far.

36). Are there any explosions in your novel/story?
Does a door being shattered count?

37). Is there an apocalypse in your novel/story?
Nope.

38). Does your novel take place in a post-apocalyptic world?
No.

39). Are there zombies, vampires, or werewolves in your novel/story?
NEVER!! Blah.

No, no, and maybe.

41).Is anyone reincarnated?
No... What are you getting at?

42). Is anyone physically ill?
Let me see... YES.

43). Is anyone mentally ill?
Ah, been thinking of putting one in there, but haven't yet...

44). Does anyone have swine flu?
If they ever do get it, it wouldn't be called that...

45). Who has pets in your novel and who are they?
Well, Myrean's wolves aren't really pets, more like companions...

46). Are there angels, demons, or any religious references/figures in your novel/story?
Yuppers.

47). How about political figures?
Oh, yes...

48).Is there incessant drinking?
No... O_o

49). Are there boardgames? If so, which ones?
Nope. Not that I can think of.

50). Are there any dream sequences?
Define dream sequences.

51). Is there humor?
I hope so. Probably not.

52). Is there tragedy?
Yes. Poor Aneth...

53). Does anyone have a temper tantrum?
Oh, not yet--I think.

54). How many characters end up single at the end of your novel/story?
All except ones that were already married.

55). Is anyone in your novel/story adopted?
Yes...

56). Does anyone in your novel/story wear glasses?
Nope.

57). Has your novel/story provided insight about your life?
Maybe a little...

58). Your personality?
Probably some.

59). Has your novel/story inspired anyone?
I doubt it.

60). How many people have asked to read your novel/story?
Quite a few, actually-- *glares at Jake* thanks to him. He went telling people... Blah.

61). Have you drawn any of your characters?
Yes, most failed.

62). Has anyone drawn your characters for you?
Not that I know of.

What kind of a question is this? Yes. Lots! (my poor characters)

65). Do any of your characters watch TV?
Watch a what?

66). What size of shoe does your main character wear?
Why? Who are you, the prince looking for Cinderella?

67). Do any of your characters in your novel/story use a computer?
What?

68). How would you act if your novel/story was erased entirely?
I'm not totally sure, but I'd better pick out the flowers for my funeral just in case... >_>

69). Did you cry at killing off any of your characters?
No... But I was sad when *bleep* died.

70). Did you cheer when killing off one of your characters?
I should hope not!! *is horrified*

71). What advice would you give a fellow writer?
Oh, I don't know... 'examine the situation from all ends to see what SHOULD happen' Bad advice, I know... but I'm no professional.

72). Describe your ending in three words.
I refuse to. *glares*

73). Are there any love triangles, squares, hexagons, etc.?
No.

74). On a scale of 1-10 (one being the least stressful, ten being the most) how does your stress rank?
Because I'm working to finish it and then edit--probably a five.

75). Was it worth it?
YES!!!

Thats it, folks. Go back to your burrows! *shoos them all away* Wait! Come back! I forgot to tell you. Will post more in a few days, when I have more drawings to talk about. I will TRY to get pictures! *poofs*

:D PICTURES, PAINTINGS, ART, OH MY!!!!

Great, awesome news to die for!! Well, sort of. I finally honest to goodnessly got my pictures!!! All the way to the most recent sketch. :D :D :D Will post... NOW!! Oh, and sorry about me lateness on blogging. I have been absent from the internet... but what a poor excuse! Here they are:

This was when I was first getting started... on the style, I mean, of mixing random things together. First good person I did, too! (probably only because its face was shadowed, LOL)

Ah, this one was OKAY... But the face was terrible and the dragon didn't look right. :P

Ooh, I happen to LOVE this one!! One of the only males I was ever able to do... and looked good!! I especially liked the eye. :D

I really thought that this one looked nice... Its a full picture, taking up the whole paper. :D

This is what inspired my Leviathan painting, which you will see more of in the 'Grand Finale'. Same position...

Look familiar? Aha, I can see it in your faces! You're thinking, 'Oh, that's nice...wait. Is that...?' (maybe not) And YES!! Saphira off of the cover of Eragon. For those of you who've read it, get out your copy if you have one! You will notice minimal differences... Longer muzzle, bigger muzzle, different look... Yah. I love doing this kind of thing free-hand, making different changes to make it sort of my own... :D Enjoy, because there's more!!

And the second book! Introducing Thorn off of the cover of Eldest, second book in the Inheritance Cycle.

Ah, as you can see in my... uh... flowery script, this is Glaedr, off of the cover of Brisingr, the third book!! He is one of my favorites of all of my sketchings...

This is one from my 'not-so-nice' sketchbook... I'm not going to post them all because a lot of them were either terrible or just doodles. This is a dragon that Manny told me to draw, choosing the positions of the legs (though I gave her options) and such. So Manny gets some of the credit of this.

This one has sort of a story behind it, though not the kind you're thinking of... or maybe it is. Anways, this is something that I'm going to write about--eventually.

The Woodserpent!! Run!! Naw, you don't have to... unless you want to...? Never mind. Woodserpents are very dangerous... like trees, especially those in the Wraithen Woods. They're huge dragon-like snakes, and are sort of evil... Red, blue, orange or yellow ones are poisonous, while green is not.

A little of a random Drawing...

Ah, didn't put a face because I'm terrible at faces. This is I-Forgot-Her-Name's coronation dress. And Leauphaun, then I realized--You draw dresses like this. Sorry I copied you... I drew a whole lot, but only a few turned out. Yours are still way better, though... *sigh*

One of my favorites of the ones I drew. Only one that looked exactly right! Manny looked at it and said, "I'd wear it if it had sleeves" Well, there are sleeves, but I didn't shade them so she didn't notice them. :) This was done for my main character, Myrean, who happens to hate dresses (LOL)

And this is my only other good one. You can probably see the remains of where I USED to have her hair, but that didn't look right. :)

Ah, the Sanadria Cliff Dragon. And my bad handwriting included, too!! I designed it during a class that my parents are heading... LOL.

f
These are pictures of a horse I was drawing... in the middle of the stages. See the mechanical pencil? Since I have no idea how to use shading pencils, thats all I use through the whole thing. Works quite well, actually.

The perspective of the first one made the head look to big... made me mad. Blah. But this one (now you know what the tips of my un-brushed hair and the tip of my knee look like) I just liked this second one, so I posted it.

NOW FOR THE GRAND FINALE!!!! My paintings. :D :D :D :D :D :D

NUMBER ONE: The Leviathan (not really a name, but Jake has nothing more creative)
^ This one was taken during the night, so it is darker.

And these two were taken during the morning. What I get frustrated about is that I finish the painting--and then later I find all these flaws. I mix all of my paints because I only have the basic colors, so  it will be hard to get those exact colors again. :P

AND THE AIR-DRAKE!!!

I think that this one was taken at night, with the flash, thus the brighter colors.

These three were taken in the morning, methinks.

OK, Grand Finale is over!! Sorry folks, time to go back into the swamp or the belly of that fish... or wherever you were before. Under your dog's paw, hiding in the cabinet--wherever you were.

GOOD BYE!!!!
--Vrenith

Oh yes, and those ones that I had before... The other painting pictures that you've been waiting for, well, I can't find them. Sorry! Jake's computer is confusing...
