Needlework Knots

I don't know how many of you knit or crochet, but I've just opened a knitting/crocheting blog for those of you who are interested. I'll be posting projects and patterns that I'm working at

Genet

These things are awesome. They're a little bit bigger than cats and have a lot of the same habits, but aren't closely related. I've been wanting to draw one for a long time.

So I started this one like six months ago. Sitting in the sketchbook in a humid climate took it's toll, so some of the shading is a little off. But I promise that the background isn't that sketchy in real life - that I can blame on the scanner.

Sam

Okay, so this drawing's not really finished. It needs a lot of touching up, but I desperately needed to feel as if I'm getting something done, so I did the best I could for now and signed it.

It's the same photo I used for the crayon one of Sam. (:

Cheers!

Theophilus

Theo. Prouncounced Teo, 'cause he's Liberian, and they don't say the 'th' sound. :) And he's adorable...and I love him...and...

Well, anyway, this is the Christmas present I gave my mom. This was him a year and a half ago. :)

The scanner did an awful job - made it look kind of grainy - but it's okay. :/

Mreow. ^_^

Morgan

I have finished a new piece, but due to Christmas, cannot post it quite yet. :) However, I did find this one of a Morgan horse. I did it for my best friend last February for her birthday. So. Cheers.

Done on smooth Bristol; small. Can't remember the exact measurements.

Ninja

I did a little thing today. Just a little one. It's only 8 x 8. And it's watercolor, so there's not much detail. But I like it. It's of my cat Ninja; the Evil. But I loved her (past tense :/)

Matt Smith: Time and Space

Here's sort of a tribute to Matt Smith, since he's leaving this Christmas. I'm not going to say how much I'm going to miss him and why, just that he will be missed.

So, as a goodbye, I did a drawing of him. I've never drawn him before, so this was a whole lot of fun and a lot easier than I expected it to be. It took me hardly any time; I was hiding it from my brother while drawing it because I wanted to surprise him, so I could only draw when he wasn't around. Still, it only took me three days, and none of those days were completely free. :D

I'm really, really happy with how it turned out.

Goodbye, Matt. "Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor."
